The Wombles interview
Elisabeth Beresford's son, Marcus Robertson, presented a lovely five-minute film reminiscing on what life was like growing up with her.
Bernard Cribbins was presented with his OBE in a ceremony at Windsor Castle on 3 November. He said narrating The Wombles was "a very nice episode in my career".
A full-colour illustrated 'gift book edition' of The Wombles is out now. The lovingly crafted hardback makes an ideal Christmas present.
